LIQUIDATION ORDER AND NOTICE TO STOP ISSUING POLICIES
Notice of Liquidation Casualty Underwriters Insurance Company
On September 19, 2025, the Third Judicial District Court of Salt Lake County, State of Utah, issued a Liquidation Order and Restraining Orders (the Liquidation Order ) for the liquidation of Casualty Underwriters Insurance Company ( CUIC ), a Utah-domiciled insurer. This action is filed under Civil Case No. 250907606. The full Liquidation Order is available at www.utinsreceivers.org.
Immediate Action Required
Effective immediately, all agents must discontinue issuing policies under CUIC and assist policyholders in securing alternative coverage. All coverage replacement and cancellations should continue to flow through the normal business with CUIC.
Policy Termination Guidelines
Please notify policyholders that all policy renewals are suspended, effective September 19, 2025, and their existing CUIC policies will terminate on the earliest of the following dates:
• October 20, 2025
• The policy s natural expiration date
• The date the insured replaces coverage with another insurer
• The date the insured voluntarily terminates the policy
• Automatic termination for nonpayment of premiums as outlined in your policy, if your payment was due and not received by September 19, 2025.
